A stone's throw from Quiberon lie Belle-Ile-en-Mer, Houat and Hoëdic. In the Gulf of Morbihan, according to the legend there are as many islands as days in the year. In reality, one counts around forty islands in this "little sea" that has given its name to Morbihan ! ("Mor" means sea and "bihan" little in breton).
